As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by the representatives of Investigative Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia one person was detained of on the fact of selling counterfeit excise marks.
During the investigation process, it was revealed that the defendant was selling counterfeit excise marks in the region of Adjara for marking cigarette packages.
Investigation is underway under the first part of the article 2001 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages deprivation of liberty from 2 to 4 years.
