As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia detained one person on the fact of an attempt to obtain title on property of another person by deceit.

The investigation revealed, that the accused person contacted one of the citizens, earned trust of that person and persuaded him, that in exchange for USD 5 000, with support of acquaintances, would assist this person to get employed in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

Accused person was detained on the fact of taking part of the requested amount, GEL 3 500.

Investigation is underway under the second parts of articles 19, 180 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisage imprisonment from 4 to 7 years.
