TOBACCO WITHOUT EXCISE MARKS

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia detained 4 persons on the fact of storing, transportation and realization of especially large amount of goods subject to marking without excise marks, by group of people. 

As a result of investigative activities 512 kg of tobacco without excise marks has been seized in Kvemo Kartli region having market value more than GEL 56 000.

Investigation is underway under the second and third parts of article 200 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 6 to 8 years.
