As a result of investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia with the coordination of the Revenue Service exposed four facts of storage and transportation alcoholic drinks without excise marks in especially large quantities.

As a result of the investigative activities, in Tbilisi and  in the region of Shida Kartli, 1. 206 bottles of alcoholic drinks without excise marks- whiskey and cognac have been ceased from detained persons. The total market value of the ceased products exceeds GEL 31, 000.

Investigation is underway under the first and third parts of article 200 of Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from six to eight years.
