As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, imposed criminal liability on one entrepreneur of the fact of misappropriation of large quantity of state property, using forged documents.

Investigation determined, that in 2018, the person exposed in crime, the head of one of the individual enterprises, had to provide the supply of different types of products (butter among them) for kindergartens under the Pre-school Education Union and located in two municipalities of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region. The accused person, in order to receive illegal income, supplied kindergartens with cheap spread instead of butter, using forged documents and forged packaging materials for butter, thus he deceitfully received large amount of state owned money.

Investigation is underway under the third part of Article 180 and first part of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 6 to 9 years.
