As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities officers of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia arrested two person for illegal transportation and realization of the large amount of excisable goods.

The investigation found out that these persons were selling excisable alcoholic beverages - 149 bottles cognac "HENNESSY XO" and 6 bottles whiskey "JACK DANIELS" without excise marks. As a result of the investigative activities, total price of seized alcoholic beverages without excise marks estimates GEL 46 460.

Investigation is underway under Article 200, paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 6 to 8 years.
