As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out in coordination with LEPL National Food Agency and LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau, representatives of Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia have imposed criminal liability on one entrepreneur for manufacturing products dangerous for human health.
Investigation has determined that the accused person was producing different types of food spices, using plants and dyes, including Azo dye - “Sudan I”, which is harmful for human health.
Investigation is underway under first part of article 198 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 3 to 5 years.
