As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigations Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, detained one person on the fact of making and sale of forged official document.

The investigations revealed that in order to gain illicit material benefit, the accused person has forged and sold for $600 the fake driving license of the Republic of Ingushetia, a member state of the Russian Federation.

Forged driving licenses and test materials in driving theory were seized as a result of investigations.

An investigation is underway under first parts of articles 362 and 180 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 2 to 4 years.
