Members of the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan visited Investigative Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia within the framework of anti-corruption program of Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. The delegation included the members of the Office of the President of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Anti-Corruption Service, the Office of the General Prosecution and representatives of OSCE.
At the meeting, the representatives of the Investigation Service introduced to the guests the structure and jurisdiction of the authority. Discussed specifics related to exposure and investigation of crimes in financial-economic field, implementation of anti-corruption strategy and subsequent monitoring and evaluation methodology. Senior investigator Alexandre Mebonia presented information depicting activities of the Investigation Service to the members of the delegation.
During the discussion, Deputy Head of Investigation Service - Vaja Panozishvili, Head of Investigation Department Kakhaber Khurtsilava and Deputy Head of Department Lasha Tsomaia answered the questions of the guests.
Among the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan were Head of the Personnel and Special Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan - Bakhtiyor Murodov, Senior Specialist at the Department of Defense and Law Enforcement of the Office of the President of Tajikistan - Jamshed Rahmonzoda, Senior prosecutor of the General Prosecution Office - Gulrukhsor Yusufzoda and the Head of the Anti-Corruption Agency's Department with fight to Economic Crimes in the field of taxation – Safar Salimzoda. The meeting was also attended by the representative of the OSCE mission in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, Filippo Crivellaro.
