As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, have exposed one person on storing and transportation of goods without excise, subject to marking.

Investigation has determined that the accused person, for the purpose of future sales, was storing and transporting 999 packs of “HEETS” brand tobacco products in Tbilisi without excise, used for so called electronic cigarettes.  Total market value of the goods seized as a result of investigative activities is GEL 4 995.

Investigation is underway under first part of Article 200 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 2 to 4 years.
