As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, carried out in October, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia exposed four facts of storage and transportation of excisable goods without excise marks in a large quantity.

As a result of investigative activities 3 925 packs of unexcised tobacco products from “HEETS” worth GEL 23550, that were determined for so called electronic cigarette IQOS, were seized from the accused persons in Tbilisi and Samtskhe-Javakheti region.

Investigation is underway under first and second parts of article 200 of Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisage imprisonment from 4 to 6 years.
