As a result of the conducted operative-investigative activities and investigative actions employees of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia have arrested one person on the fact of illegally cutting the tree-shrub and preparing and using forged waybills for selling the timber.

Investigation has determined that accused person was illegally carring out tree cutting in Samtskhe-Javakheti region and used to sell  the timber, obtained by criminal way by using forged waybills.

Investigation is underway on the case under the I part of the article 303 and under the I part of the article 210 of Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages deprivation of liberty from 2 to 4 years.
