As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out by Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, 17 facts of falsification (changing of an items qualitative properties by deception by the manufacturer or seller, committed for mercenary purposes) were exposed in the current period of 2018.

Investigation has determined that, during the production process, entrepreneurs were deceitfully changing qualitative properties of food products (sausages, smoked fish) as well as construction materials (cement).

On the basis of authentic evidences obtained as a result of investigation of above mentioned criminal cases, Investigation Service imposed criminal liability on 21 entrepreneurs, on facts of committing crimes foreseen under Article 197 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
