As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, exposed one person on the fact of misappropriation of large amount of state property by deceit by manufacturing and using forged documents.
Investigation determined that the accused person, using a forged delivery-acceptance act of the land plot, according to which, during the land reform, a land plot located in the village of Abastumani, Adigeni Municipality was separated in ownership, fraudulently registered 2000 m2 land plot.
According to the expertise, the value of the illegally acquired land plot is GEL 45 970. Relevant procedures are being continued to return the land to the state ownership.
Investigation is underway under the third part of Article 180 and second part of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 6 to 9 years.
