As a result of investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia with the coordination of the Revenue Service exposed eight facts of storage and transportation excisable goods without excise marks in a large quantities.

As a result of the investigative activities, in Tbilisi and  in the regions of Adjara and Kvemo Kartli, 7.120 boxes HEETS” brand tobacco “without excise marks, for “IQOS” electric cigarettes have been ceased from detained persons.

The total market value of the ceased products exceeds GEL 42, 000.

Investigation is underway under the first, second and third parts of article 200 of Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from six to eight years.
