Mr. Vaja Panozishvili was appointed as a Deputy Head of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia

By order of the 1st Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Finance of Georgia – Mr. Dimitri Kumsishvili, based on the presentation of Head of the Investigation Service - Mr. Levan Gamkrelidze, Mr. Vaja Panozishvili was appointed as a Deputy Head of the Investigation Service.


Today, Head of the Investigation Service - Mr. Levan Gamkrelidze presented a new deputy head of the Service to the employees and noted that Mr. Vaja Panozishvili will be in charge of Investigation direction.


“I want to mention that a professional executive has joined our team, he has proper knowledge, broad experience and high qualification and skills needed to lead the main direction of the Service and make the work of the Service even more effective“ – Mr. Levan Gamkrelidze said.


Before being appointed as a Deputy Head of the Investigation Service, Mr. Vaja Panozishvili has worked on different positions in Chief Prosecutor’s office of Georgia. 2014-2017  Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia, Kakheti Regional Prosecutor. 2013-2014  Deputy Prosecutor of Tbilisi, Head of Investigation Unit.  2010-2013  Tbilisi Prosecutor’s Office, Deputy Head of Investigation Unit. 2004-2010  Prosecutor and senior prosecutor of the Department of the General. Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia, subsequently the Chief Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia. 1999-2004  Kakheti Regional Prosecutor’s Office, Intern, senior Investigator.


Deputy Head of the Investigation Service Mr. Vaja Panozishvili graduated from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Law. He knows English and Russian Languages.
