As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia have arrested one person on storing and selling forged money.

Investigation has determined that the accused person has sold four banknotes of forged USD 100 in Shida Kartli Region. During the arresting process additionally forged USD 200 had been seized.

Investigation is underway under first part of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 4 to 7 years.
