INVESTIGATION SERVICE HAS EXPOSED GAMBLING HOUSES WORKING WITHOUT MANDATORY LICENSE

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia have exposed a gambling house working without mandatory license, where gambling was executed in systemic-electronic way.

 

Investigation has determined that in one of the villages of Khelvachauri municipality, group of people, was organizing gaming processes – roulette, betting and bingo without mandatory license, in systemic-electronic way in order to receive large amount of income.

 

Above mentioned illegal entrepreneurial activities caused damage to the state budget in the amount of GEL 390 000.

 

Investigation is underway under second part of the Article 192 of Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 3 to 5 years.
