As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia exposed one person on the fact of illegal entrepreneurial activity.

Investigation revealed that, the accused person, in order to receive large amount of illegal material benefit, was constantly selling psychotropic and specially controlled medicines to citizens, without prescription, from one of the pharmacies operating without state registration and proper permit in Kutaisi, thus was promoting so-called "pharmacy drug addiction".

As a result of investigative activities, large amount of various types of psychotropic medicine was seized.

Investigation is underway under the first part of article 192 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 1 to 3 years.
