Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia announces a paid internship program in investigative and operative directions.
Graduates of the faculties of Law, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, State Governance, Social and Political Sciences are eligible to participate in the internship program. Recruitment of interns is carried out for 30 vacant positions of investigators and inspector-investigators.
Electronic applications of those wishing to participate in the internship competition will be accepted on the official website of Investigation Service http://is.ge/ka-ge/stajireba from May 06 to May 30 inclusive. After the completion of registration, interns will be selected through a three-staged qualifying competition: professional testing, general skills testing and an interview.
Since the announcement of the internship competition, in order to popularize the program, in May of this year, Deputy Head of Investigation Service – Mr. Ioseb Vardzelashvili, along with other high-ranking officials, will hold introductory and informational meetings with the students of the higher educational institutions across Georgia. The meetings will be held with students of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Georgian Technical University, and the state universities of Gori, Kutaisi, Batumi, Zugdidi, Akhaltsikhe, and Telavi, as well as students of the Georgian National University, Kutaisi International University, and Caucasus University. The meetings will be focused on the tasks of Investigation Service and specifics of fighting against financial and economic crime. The top managers of the Service will explain to the young people about the importance of the internship program acquiring professional knowledge and practical skills, as well as the significance of successfully completing the program for future employment prospects.
Upon successful completion of the selection competition, interns will undergo a six-month theoretical and practical training course at the LEPL Academy of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, and at Tbilisi and regional subdivisions of Investigation Service. The interns will be acquainted with the main tasks of Investigation Service, the specifics of its work and will be involved in practical activities.
