INVESTIGATION SERVICE IS LAUNCHING “INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2018”

Internship program is being launched at Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.  This program is the best opportunity for those youngsters, who wish to connect their professional activities and career to Investigation Service – law enforcement authority that is combating against financial-economic crime in the country. In 2018, for the first time, format of the program will be paid internship. This will be additional stimulus for interested youngsters.

 

Persons having higher education level in legal and economic fields will have the opportunity to participate in the Program. Interns will be accepted on the position of an Inspector-Investigator, at the offices located in Tbilisi and other regions of Georgia.

 

Registration and fill-in of demand in the electronic format for participants wishing to join internship program will be available on the official website of Investigation Service within the special field “Internship at Investigation Service” from October 4 including October 14.

 

Acceptance of the interns will be held in the format of three-stage competition – professional testing, general abilities testing and interview. Interns accepted as a result of the competition, will go through 6-months theoretical and practical learning course. After completing the course, successful interns will be employed at the existing/available vacant positions of Investigation Service. 

 

Within the frames of the program, interns will go through the theoretical course in line with the program specially designed for them at the Academy of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. Practical course itself, will be carried out in Tbilisi and regional offices of Investigation Service. They will get detailed information about the effective legislation and all the basic international guidelines regarding combating economic crime, as well as the main tasks and specificity/peculiarity of the activities of Investigation Service. Internship program will help them to receive respective knowledge and gain all the necessary practical skills, that will help them in their successful and effective work in future.

 

The aim of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia is to attract and employ motivated youngsters having the relevant education, within the frames of the program. This will help to continue effective activities of the Service.
