As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, imposed criminal liability on three persons on the fact of storing and selling forged money.

Investigation determined that, the accused persons, sold - in one case, 10 pieces of forged USD 100 banknotes in Tbilisi, and in other two cases, 7 pieces of forged GEL 50 banknotes and 3 pieces of GEL 100 banknotes in agrarian markets and trade objects of Kutaisi and Zestaponi.

Investigation is underway under first and second parts of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 7 to 10 years.
