As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigations Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, in Kakheti region, initiated prosecution against one person on the fact of manufacturing and selling forged official document.

Investigation determined that a representative of a driving school registered in the abovementioned region, in exchange for money, prepared and issued forged certificates confirming the completion of the C category training course required for obtaining a driver’s license, so as he did not actually train citizens with the training course.

Investigation is underway under first part of articles 362 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment up to 3 years.
