As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia have arrested one person on a fact of producing and selling large amount of forged excise stamps.
Investigation has determined that the accused person produced and sold 3144 forged excise stamps for alcoholic beverages subject to marking.
Investigation is underway under the second part of the Article 2001 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 4 to 6 years.
