As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out in Tbilisi and regions of Samegrelo and Kvemo Kartli, Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia exposed three facts of storing, transportation and realization of goods subject to marking, without excise and arrested two persons on this case.

As a result of investigative activities carried out in Tbilisi and municipalities of Zugdidi and Bolnisi, various types of cigarettes without excise, totally 13 337 boxes, were seized subject to realization, having the market value exceeding GEL 37 000.

Investigation is underway under article 200, parts I and III of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 6 to 8 years.
