As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia arrested one person on the fact of storing, transportation and selling of goods subject to marking without excise.

Investigation has determined that the accused person was selling large quantity of different types of alcoholic beverages without excise.

As a result of investigative activities, alcoholic beverages without excise - „BELUGA”, „HENNESSY“, „IJEVAN“ and „ARARAT“ were seized,  with total market value exceeding GEL 7000.

Investigation is underway under the second part of Article 200 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 4 to 6 years.
