As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia have exposed 2 unregistered enterprises in Tbilisi and Gardabani municipality, where large amount of goods were illegally produced under third party’s trademark.

 Investigation has determined that a group of people acting with prior agreement, arranged enterprises in Tbilisi and Gardabani municipality, where following laundry detergents were illegally produced: “ABC”, “Persil”, “Ariel”, “Calgon”, “Fairy”, “Fena”, “Guta”, “Domestos”.

 As a result of investigative activities carried out, large quantity of chemical materials, etiquettes, bottles, technical equipment used for production of laundry detergents were seized together with up to 2000 units of goods prepared for sales.

 Investigation is underway under the third part of article 196 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 3 to 5 years.
