As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia detained one person on the fact of influence peddling.
Investigation determined that the accused person had persuaded an individual, that he could unlawfully influence the employees of the Supervision Service of Borjomi Municipality City Hall, who would not have hindered an individual from carrying out entrepreneurial activities while exercising their official powers.
With the mentioned criminal intent, the accused received GEL 1000 from an individual.
Investigation is underway under the second part of article 3391 of Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisage imprisonment from 3 to 5 years.
