As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia arrested citizen of Republic of Azerbaijan, as an accused on the fact of storing and selling large quantity of forged money.

617 units of USD100 banknotes having total value of USD 61 700 was seized as a result of investigative activities.

Investigation is underway under second part of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 7 to 10 years.
