As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities conducted by the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, two persons were revealed, operating on the basis of preliminary agreement, with the purpose of misappropriation of the property of the third party.

According to the investigation, it has been determined, that in 2016-2017 the above mentioned persons, using forged notarized power of attorney, have misappropriated  11 44 sq.m. land plot owned by the citizens of Germany and Kazakhstan. Market value of the misappropriated property exceeds GEL 4 million.

Investigation is underway under the third part of the Article 180 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 6 to 9 years.
