As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia exposed three facts of storage and transportation of excisable goods without excise marks in a large quantity.

As a result of investigative activities, 2 230 boxes “HEETS” brand tobacco products without excise marks determined for so called electronic cigarette IQOS have been seized from persons involved in crime.

The total market value of seized products without excise marks exceeds GEL 13 000.

Investigation in underway under the first and second parts of article 200 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 4-6 years.
