As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia in coordination with the representatives of Revenue Service, exposed six facts of storing and transportation of especially large quantity of goods subject to marking, without excise marks.

 
As a result of investigative activities, 6 732 packs of “HEETS” brand tobacco products without excise marks, used for so called electronic cigarettes - IQOS, were seized in Tbilisi and Kvemo Kartli region, from persons exposed in the crime.

 
Total market value of products without excise marks, seized as a result of investigative activities, exceeds GEL 37 000.

 
Investigation is underway under the first, second and third parts of article 200 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 6 to 8 years.
