Investigation Service detained two persons on the fact of selling psychotropic and special medicines, subject to control, without the relevant permission and prescription

As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia detained two persons on the fact of illegal entrepreneurial activity.

Investigation determined that the accused persons, in order to receive illegal material benefit, from their own beauty salon and clothing store located in Shida Kartli region, were selling psychotropic and special medicines subject to control without the relevant permission and prescription.

As a result of investigative activities large amount of psychotropic medicines were seized.

Investigation is underway under the Article 192 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 3 to 5 years.
