In the Investigation Department of the Investigation Service, based on the collective statement of the authors and performers, an investigation is being conducted, on the possible appropriation of a large amount of funds belonging to the authors and performers by the chairman of Georgian Copyright Association (the third part of Article 182 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).

In order to determine the factual circumstances of the case, appropriate investigative activities are underway.

Considering the high interest of the public, the Investigation Service will periodically provide the public with information about the progress and results of the investigation.
