As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities carried out, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, arrested one person on fact of bribery.

Investigation determined that, in Adjara region, director of one of the companies under Keda municipality, in order to receive illegal income, illegally asked and took GEL 400 from one of the citizens in return for using construction equipment of the company, without signing an agreement.

Investigation is underway under fourth part of Article 221 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 4 to 6 years.

Currently, corresponding activities are carrying out in order to detect and expose other individuals connected to above mentioned crime.
