TEORETICAL TRAINING OF INTERNS OF INVESTIGATION SERVICE HAS BEGUN

Theoretical training of interns participating in the paid internship program of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia has begun at the Academy of the Ministry of Finance. Within the framework of the program, interns will undergo a six-month theoretical and practical training course at the LEPL - Academy of the Ministry of Finance, in Tbilisi and regional structural divisions of the Service. Interns will learn in detail about the experience of combating crimes committed in the financial and economic field, the specifics of the activities of the Service and relevant legislation.

At the internship selection stage, head of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance Mikheil Maghlakelidze, along with other senior officials of the Service, met with young candidates. The head of the Service spoke about the importance of internship and noted that the paid internship program is the best format for starting a professional career, motivated interns are given opportunities to improve their knowledge and develop skills, which will help them in their professional activities in the future. Mikheil Maghlakelidze wished the young candidates success in their professional careers.

Interns were congratulated on the start of theoretical training at the Academy of the Ministry of Finance and wished success by Ioseb Vardzelashvili, Deputy Head of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance and Tariel Chulukhadze, Director of the Academy of the Ministry of Finance.

Ioseb Vardzelashvili noted that the Academy of the Ministry of Finance and the units of the investigation department should train qualified personnel who will be able to perform the functions of an investigator and an inspector-investigator within the framework of the activities of the Investigation Service.

According to Tariel Chulukhadze, training at the academy will be devoted to discussing the legal grounds of activities of Investigation Service, assigning qualifications to crimes under the jurisdiction of the Service and attaching obtained evidences to the case in accordance with the law.

Three months will be devoted to theoretical training of interns at the LEPL - Academy of the Ministry of Finance, and the next three months, young candidates will undergo practical internships in the units of Investigation Service.

The selection competition for the paid internship program announced at Investigation Service was held in the Service in three stages. The first stage included testing the professional knowledge of the candidates. Next stages included testing in skills and interviews. 15 interns were selected for vacant positions in the investigative direction of the paid internship program announced in the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance. 

Internship program at Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance has been successfully implemented for years.
