STATEMENT OF THE INVESTIGATION SERVICE

An investigation is underway at the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance concerning the companies sanctioned yesterday by the Great Britain (AiFory LLC, Arvix LLC, and Rapira Group LLC). In connection with this, concrete legal results have already been achieved.

None of the sanctioned companies operated within Georgia.

Investigation determined, that AiFory LLC and Arvix LLC were registered fictitiously in the names of third parties in exchange for certain compensation, while in reality, they operated in Moscow, Russia and possessed no assets or offices in Georgia.

In the above-mentioned criminal case, by the court judgement of April 28, 2026, three accused persons were sentenced to a fine in the amount of GEL 30 000 and probation, while the organizer of the crime, Davit Jincharadze, was sentenced to 9 years and 6 months of imprisonment.

As for the illegal activities of Rapira Group LLC, it has been established that the company, registered by a citizen of Great Britain through a power of attorney, exclusively served only Russian citizens via the website „rapira.net” and its domain is also registered with a Russian registrar. The company has no recorded turnover on its bank accounts, assets or offices on the territory of Georgia and its registration was purely formal in nature.
