THE MINISTER OF FINANCE LASHA KHUTSISHVILI, PRESENTED THE NEW HEAD OF INVESTIGATION SERVICE

The Minister of Finance Mr. Lasha Khutsishvili, presented the new head of Investigation Service Mr. Levan Kharabadze. He previously held the position of Deputy Head of the State Security Service of Georgia. 

The meeting held at Investigation Service was attended by the former head of the Service, Mikheil Maghlakelidze, as well as the heads of structural units of Investigation Service.

Mr. Lasha Khutsishvili congratulated Mr. Levan Kharabadze on his appointment as the head of the agency and wished him success in his work. The Minister noted that the new head possesses years of experience working in law enforcement and is well-acquainted with the specifics of the Investigation Service. He expressed hope that, under the leadership of Mr. Kharabadze, prevention and detection of financial and economic crimes will continue actively.

Mr. Levan Kharabadze thanked the Minister for the trust and support shown to him. He highlighted professionalism and strong sense of responsibility of the employees of agency and noted that the Service will continue to carry out its functions effectively. 

The Minister thanked the former head of the Investigation Service, Mr. Mikheil Maghlakelidze, for his work and noted that, under his leadership, operational efficiency of the agency and material-technical capabilities have significantly improved. He also expressed hope that coordination between the agencies within the system of the Ministry of Finance will continue in the future.

On his behalf, Mr. Mikheil Maglakelidze thanked the employees of the Investigation Service for their support and wished the new head success.
