Soso Ramishvili - Investigation Service continues to work without the hindrances
According to Soso Ramishvili, Head of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance, in recent days the agency has actively taken measures to prevent the possible spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19).
In order to prevent the spread of the virus, disinfections of the administrative building and regional offices were carried out in compliance with the instructions of inter-agency council. Staff are kept informed of medical protocols, recommendations and hygiene regulations and receive maximum protection.
In order to minimize possible contact with those at risk, at the decision of the Head of the Investigation Service, some employees have been temporarily placed in a remote work mode (in particular employees who can work remotely without leaving home).
For the purpose of exercising preventive measures, the Investigation Service has temporarily switched to the remote method of correspondence management. Till April 21 of this year the Service of investigations will accept applications and other correspondence only on email (email address - email@example.com).
To avoid misinterpretation or misunderstandings, staff members were further informed that moving to remote work did not mean reducing working hours or being on leave and that wages would be retained.
According to the head of the investigation service, the above-mentioned measures will not interfere with the working process. The Investigation Service continues to perform its duties under the law on a permanent basis.
