Delegation of Commandant’s Office of National Police of Poland, had a working visit in Tbilisi. Head of Investigation Service, Mr. Soso Ramishvili, together with other high level officials of the Service, met the Chief Commandant of National Police of Poland, Mr. Yaroslav Shimchik and Chief of the Central Police Investigation Bureau Mr. Pawel Poltorzycki.
Together with different types of crimes, field of activities of the Central Bureau of Investigation of the National Police of Poland, include exposing, investigating and suppressing economic crimes.
During introductory meeting held at Investigation Service, parties discussed the issues of combating economic crime, as well as effective methods of combating organized crime. Head of Investigation Service, Mr. Soso Ramishvili introduced concrete directions of activities of Investigation Service to the members of delegation of Poland. Spoke about legal basis and organizational structure of the Service and noted, that by exposing and suppressing economic crime, Investigation Service is protecting state budget from financial losses, supports the existence of free business environment and economic development of the country.
From their side, members of delegation of Poland, spoke about reforms implemented in their country and challenges that Poland’s law-enforcing authorities are currently facing.
Parties underlined the importance of cooperation in the field of combating against crime and agreed on specific directions.
