Deputy Head of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Mr. Vasha Panozishvili met the graduates and Masters’ Degree students of the Law Faculty at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and personally introduced them the internship program planned at Investigation Service. Dean of the Law Faculty at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Professor Tamar Zaradnia and Vice-Dean of the above mentioned faculty, Professor Moris Shalikashvili attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Mr. Vazha Panozishvili spoke about the specifics, legal basis, priorities and HR policy of Investigation Service. He underlined that within the frames of the program, the aim of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia is to attract and employ motivated youngsters having relevant education.
“Internship program is the best opportunity for those youngsters who received/got education in the field of law and economics, who wish to connect their professional activities and career to Investigation Service – law enforcement authority that is combating financial-economic crime in the country. Within the frames of the program, youngsters will go through 6-months theoretical and practical learning course. They will have an opportunity to receive respective knowledge and gain all the necessary practical skills that will help them in their successful and effective work in the future.” – Mr. Vazha Panozishvili noted.
Deputy Head of Investigation Service mentioned, that this year, for the first time, format of the program will be paid internship, thus being additional stimulus for youngsters.
Meeting was held in the format of questions and answers. Deputy Head of Investigation Service answered all of the questions asked by the university students
